As I sit here watching the rain pour down on this dreary day, I think of all the things our very busy garden club will be doing in the next few months.  

OUR “POP UP” TRIP TO CHARLESTON IS VERY CHOCK FULL OF EVENTS.  TICKETS HAVE ALREADY SOLD OUT TO ONE OF THE LECTURES.  IF YOU HAVE INTEREST PLEASE SIGN UP WITHOUT DELAY ON OUR WEBSITE AS I CAN NOT GUARANTEE TICKETS TO ALL EVENTS AT THIS TIME.  THERE ARE SO MANY THINGS TO SEE THAT WE CAN SUBSTITUTE- A HOUSE TOUR IN LIEU OF THE LECTURE.  All commitments must be in by TODAY, February 1st.

9:15-11:00  Morning Walking Tour
11:30-1:00  Lecture (sold out)- To be replaced with a House tour.
1:00             Depart for Wimbee Creek Farm in the South Carolina low country. Wimbee Creek Farm is an organic flower farm that produces flowers for local and regional designers. Here we will have lunch, a floral demonstration by the owner and a tour of the farm.
Dinner:         Peninsula Grill

MARCH 28th
10:00-12:00 Connoisseur’s Tour of Gardens
1:00              Depart for Magnolia Plantation where we will have a box lunch and tour of the house and grounds.

MARCH 29th
11:30 -1:00  Luncheon lecture “Botanical Journeys of The Camellia Man” Speaker: Tom Johnson who oversees the country’s largest Camellia collection at Magnolia Plantation.
2:00-5:00     Tour Glorious Garden – A walking tour of 8-10 private gardens including a wine reception at Nathaniel Russell House.
