Founders Fund runner up in 2015 Sasqua Garden Club restored gardens at The Connecticut Audubon Society Birdcraft Museum in Fairfield, CT to create a “Living Classroom” teaching thousands of residents and school children the importance of habitat biodiversity.

Garden History and Design

Working with the Garden Club of America (GCA) and the Archives of American Gardens located at the Smithsonian in Washington, D.C. Sasqua Garden Club has documented and submitted over 10 private gardens since 1998.

Community Outreach

For over a decade, Sasqua Garden Club has partnered with the surrounding community to provide educational programs for neighboring children.

The aim of this Club is to stimulate the knowledge and love of gardening and creative design; To protect, restore and improve the quality of the environment through education, programs and action in the fields of conservation and civic improvement.
