Dina Brewster, became a farmer ten years ago after teaching first in the Philippines as a Peace Corps volunteer and then in the Bronx as a high school English teacher. Dina's grandparents first bought the Hickories farm in 1936, and, since her arrival, Dina has overseen the development of new products and new acreage as the farm business has grown. The Hickories is committed to ecologically, economically and socially responsible agriculture that connects people with working land.
